Cookie's Pups 1-30-14

Hi folks. It's been way too long since my last post. At Mayfair, there've been few new developments. First, Cookie has had her first litter of puppies. Born on January 30, 2014 around 5:15 PM, we have five Blenheim pups ranging from 4.6 to 9.3 ounces. There are four girls and one boy, latter with a perfect Blenheim spot. This photo was taken when they were about four hours old.

Second, an ultrasound shows that Pixie is pregnant with at least three puppies. Yea. They are due in about three weeks. So please stay in touch - this is going to be exciting,

This little Blenheim girl has not been named yet. Believe it or not,
she is the only Blenheim out of a total of ten puppies produced by
Gypsy so far.

Hi Folks, as promised, here are the close-ups of her four babies.

Hi folks. I'm terribly sorry it's taken so long to post again, but needless to say, I'm working on a new computer (which has already spent a week in the shop). It's taken a month just to find the right buttons to push. Fortunately, in spite of my troubles, Gypsy has taken great care of her pups. They are beautiful, very smart, healthy, and growing like weeds (as they say). The following photo shows a family visiting their baby girl on a Sunday afternoon. I will try over the next few days to publish a close-up of each pup.

GYPSY'S PUPPIES ARE DUE THURSDAY, 9/26.

That's next Thursday, give or take a day. We'll have her x-rayed on Monday to find out how many she has. Needless to say, we're very happy and very proud. Her first litter was all tri-colored puppies and absolutely beautiful.

I feel I owe you an explanation for not posting since March 14, 2013: my computer died!!! I wasted a lot of time with Best Buy's Geek Squad. I finally went to Fry's Electronics and bought a new computer, etc., etc. Thanks for staying in touch. I hope to see you all; soon.

A repeat would make us all very happy.

Isadora's Pups 3/14/13

Okay, I'm embarassed. I just realized I haven't posted since Isadora's litter last year. Anyway, Isadora had another litter today!!! She had three pups - two boys and a girl. We have bred Tori, and she is due in about two months. We will also be breeding Cookie in the next few days, and she will be having her puppies in about nine weeks. Sounds like we'll be busy.

Well we thought all of the puppies in this litter were sold; but surprise, someone had to back out at the last minute. So if you're looking for a lovely 12 week old Blenheim puppy, this little guy may be the one. This photo was taken yesterday.

Before I get into more puppy photos, let me take a moment of your time to tell you a little more about GCH CH Mayfair Isadora. Izzy's mother is Ch. Mayfair Linhope, and her father is Ch. Mayfair Dewberry - both AKC national champions. Izzy became an AKC Champion on November 6, 2010 and an AKC Grand Champion April 28, 2011.

One more thing before we get into photos. So that we can identify the individual puppies, we usually come up with some, often silly,  descriptive name for each.
This is Red:

 This is Handsome:

 And this is Little Boy:

Now see if you can identify each of the puppies.
